The second edition of the PROCURAL Handball Cup is behind us

The second edition of the international PROCURAL Handball Cup has concluded. As the title sponsor of the event, we proudly supported the pre-season competition of four European teams at the ORLEN Arena in Płock. Sponsoring this initiative was a natural extension of our long-term cooperation with the ORLEN Wisła Płock team. For the PROCURAL brand, it was another excellent opportunity to build recognition abroad and clearly emphasize our commitment to promoting sports. We have demonstrated that values such as ambition, teamwork, and determination are the key to achieving goals in the business world and on the court.

As anticipated, the August matches guaranteed a high level of sports rivalry. The winner of this year's edition was the host team, defeating Croatia's RK Nexe 37:23 in Sunday's grand final. Third place was claimed by the Danish team TTH Holstebro after a highly balanced match against Turkey's Beşiktaş JK, which ended 35:33. The earlier Saturday matches also delivered great excitement, including ORLEN Wisła Płock's 34:26 victory over TTH Holstebro and RK Nexe's 33:32 win against Beşiktaş JK. The Most Valuable Player awards for the respective games went to Marcel Jastrzębski, Frederik Bjerre, and Mirko Alilović, who received the MVP statuette after the final showdown.

For the coaching staffs and players, the tournament was a perfect moment to test tactical variations before the start of the league season, and for the fans, it was a great space for integration. We ensured that the event stood out due to its fully professional organization and artistic setting. Guests arriving at the arena were welcomed by stilt walkers in our corporate white and blue colors, while the time surrounding the matches was enhanced by dance and acrobatic performances from several artistic groups. We extend our gratitude to the fans, business guests, and partners for their attendance, cheering, shared emotions, and for jointly creating an excellent atmosphere during this weekend.
