The strength of companies producing in Poland.

The annual Polish Woodworking Congress (Kongres Stolarki Polskiej) focused primarily on issues related to the current global situation, which is complicating operations for entrepreneurs in Poland. The POiD association has committed to taking a series of actions to support our industry. One of these is protecting the competitiveness of the European market.
The company PROCURAL is consistently implementing its own strategy aimed in this same direction. Since the pandemic, when the difficult situation necessitated the introduction of non-standard measures, the company has continued to hold to its chosen course. "Think globally, act locally" – this well-known idea is the company's motto in these challenging times. As part of the Laumann Group, PROCURAL has been an international company for three years, but it relies primarily on local suppliers, especially regarding aluminum. It cooperates with extrusion plants producing in Poland. For several years, it has been purchasing profiles critical to its operations only from suppliers located no more than 400 km from the company's headquarters. "Thanks to this, we are not dependent on uncertain, distant deliveries, and we support and protect the Polish market," commented Andrzej Karolewski, CEO of PROCURAL, on the current situation during the Congress.
The investments currently being implemented also have a positive impact on the company's immediate surroundings. "The construction of a warehouse hall, which we recently began, will bring benefits to the entire municipality. For many years, we have been providing employment to the local community, and our taxes also remain here," the CEO emphasized.
Protecting competitiveness and conducting business responsibly also means carrying out tasks that favorably impact the reduction of the carbon footprint. The company holds Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for all of its system groups. PROCURAL collaborates with environmentally responsible profile suppliers who possess a sustainable development strategy. They also offer products with a reduced carbon footprint, manufactured from special alloys with a high share of recycled aluminum.
"Thanks to our actions, we should pass this difficult test," the CEO summarizes. With the support of proven partners manufacturing in Poland and guided by responsibility for future generations, just like the entire Laumann Group.
